Cabbage stuffed Paratha (Stuffed Vegetable Indian Bread)

Today i am posting Tasty and healthy Cabbage Paratha



For dough:
  1. Whole Wheat flour or All purpose flour      250g           
  2. Water                                                        150g
  3. Turmeric                                                   (1/2 tea spoon)(optional)
  4. Salt                                                            1 tea spoon
  5. Cumin powder                                           1 tea spoon
  6. Vegetable oil for shallow fry paratha's         150ml
Method for making Dough:

  1. Take Whole wheat flour in a wide bowl (here i used whole wheat flour) add salt and turmeric and cumin powder mix well.
  2. Now add little little water in this flour mixer and make it like smooth dough.
  3. Apply a little vegetable oil over this dough & cover it with soft white cloth, keep aside.







Ingredients for Cabbage stuffing:
  1. Cabbage                                          200g
  2. Carom seeds(Ajwain,vamu)              1 tea spoon
  3. Salt                                                   1 tea spoon

Method for making Cabbage Stuffing:
  1. Finely cut cabbage leaves, then add salt & carom seeds in it, then mix well.
  2. Let there not be excess water in this mix, it should be dry.
  3. Keep it aside.




    Method of making Stuffed Paratha:
    1. Take Wheat flour dough and make small dough balls.
    2. Now take one dough ball dust dry wheat flour on the top and press gently with wodden  roller.
    3. Now take some cabbage-mix, stuff it in the rolled dough and close slowly with your hands.
    4. Now dust some dry wheat flour on the top of stuffed dough and press gently with the help of rolling pin and make it into a round paratha.
    5. Gently transfer it into hot tawa (pan) , brush with vegetable oil and shallow fry both the side.
    6. Place it on the serving plate.
    7. Serve with fresh yougurt and lemon pickle.
